I was offered employment pending me spending $5,500.00 to purchase office equipment to set ip home office. When I said I refused to accept job, they got into my Facebook account and locked me out, stating I had to pay a cancellation fee or else they would pit posts on my Facebook account. I contacted Facebook and they stated that someone had locked my account and also made purchases through Marketplace in my name in the amount of $500 and that Marketplace is wanting money. I asked them to remove the blockage but they said I would have to pay $500 to Marketplace. I did not authorize and purchase on Marketplace. This all transpired on September 20, 2024.

Applied for a remote flexible data entry job went through a bunch of different "interview"process, even got a "Offer letter" then after a week of communicating was asked to provide personal info address and DL pic ECT. And also credit card info so the "company could pay off any credit card debt in place of me purchasing a AMEx $300 card to then receive so called $3500 of "company funds" to them turn around an d purchase through company select only vendor necessary undisclosed "mini office material" in order to then start working remotely and get paid $30hr bi weekly. This obviously didn't sound right to me so I did not provide credit card info and when I asked why funds had to jump from accounts in order for "company funds to purchase from company vendor said needed materials for employment offer" I was sent in circles and the company representative persisted on obtaining my personal credit card info and account info and urges me to head to nearest Walgreens/rite aid to purchase this so called $300 AMEX credit card to then immediately accept "company reimbursement and around $3500 funds into said AMEX card they attempted relentlessly to get me to purchase. I did not purchase AMEX card, but this company representative for "SUPPORTING STRATEGIES" scammed me into obtaining my DL pic/number and eventually abruptly said I wasted their time in end.
