This man on tiktok messaged me, wanting to be friends. Telling me his life story and asking about my life. He claim he was an engineer working offshore in Canada. One day while working under water him and his coworker found some gold but he didn’t want to keep it with him because pirates might come so he had a pilot take it for him to have it shipped to me, while he was flying to India. The courier was swifttrustlogistics and from them went to Dubai on United Arab Emirates to Dubai. Once it got to customs they claim it had a lock on it and couldn’t inspect it so I had to pay a $6500 fee for non inspection and custom fee. He didn’t want the lock broken because he had gold, $80,000 cash and his personal life papers in the box and didn’t want to get charges put on him. He claim he couldn’t get access to his account while on the rig and could I help him pay the fees and get it back when the box was delivered. I told him I didn’t have it. He asked me to email the courier and ask if I could do payment on delivery? They said fees has to be paid first, I say I don’t have it. He say tell them what I could send and they will negotiate with customs. I say $500 that wasn’t enough customs wouldn’t except that I needed more to negotiate. I say $1000 they say we can do that tell them how I want to pay. I didn’t send anything and I suspect the man on tiktok and the person emailing me was the same person. He just knew what they would and wouldn’t do. He was adamant that he didn’t want me to contact Dubai customs because I would make the situation worse. I have emails, pictures and phone numbers
