This was for a book deal for self-publishing my children's book. They check out very well on line with all the profiles, reviews, etc. I worked with an agent who ended up making a deal with me for two things, a royalty deal and a marketing deal. They made good on the first three royalty deals and not at all on the marketing deal, and then began a series of unloading me to various other Agents because my original agent was "sick", "in an accident" and various other excuses. They even stated that the original agent, Bill Rogers, was indeed a fraud that they didn't know about and were now investigating, but they still never got back to working my original deal. Now they do not answer my calls or emails or text messages. They have completely ghosted me. I have also called the building of address on their website, and they are not a listed tenant of said building. On their site, they list Inkwell Book Writer, LLC, but they are NOT registered as an LLC with California and are not found on their Sec of State site. They said they were with a parent company, Codex Labs, but I have to figure that out next week. I am still investigating everything, but they have disappeared with my money. I have been passed around to about 7-8 other Employees to string me along and even ask for more money for more "opportunities", but now I am flatly ignored.

Book publishing company. The agents all have accents. The company offers multiple services. During the editing of my cover and synopsis, the editing failed with multiple grammar errors, which was concerning to me after I had paid them thousands. I have yet to submit my manuscript.
