A company called Innsbrook Logistic with an address listed as 17197 North Laurel Park Drive, Livonia, MI 48152. Website: http://innsbrooklogi.com Phone: 906-368-4005. Email: [email protected]. This company reached out to me by phone, indicating they found my resume on Indeed and would like to discuss a job opportunity with me. After interviewing with the company and working directly with a recruiter by the name of Heather Davis, I was offered a position as a Supply Chain Operations Manager. I was advised to complete an I-9 and to upload my Ohio Driver's License, along with my Social Security Card. I did so, under the impression this was a remote position that inspected mostly clothing packages for defects. However, approximately two weeks later I received an email from Heather Davis with instructions to print the attached documents, and to go open a business checking account from either Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, or a Chase Bank. When I opened the documents, I realized one of the documents was a "State of Ohio Certificate" for a company in my name for a Domestic for Profit LLC - Articles of ORG, that I did NOT authorize. The second document was a letter from the IRS Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service stating an "Employer Identification Number" has been assigned to me, again in my name, again of which, I did not authorize. I have taken all perspective cautionary measures to prevent both Business Identity Theft, as well as personal Identity Theft. Please ensure to make "Job Seekers BEWARE"!!!
