In 2021, I hired this company to create a logo. I paid them and have been using it. Throughout the past 2 yrs, they have been contacting me to "upgrade" so that I could use my logo indefinitely. I initially told them that none of this was communicated to me when I first signed up with them. Irregardless, I continued using the logo, and this past Dec, they sent me a cease and desist letter to stop using the logo. I again told them that there was no formal contract and this was never communicated with me (that I had limited time to use my logo) but decided to take down the logo so that I didn't have to deal with their nonsense. They continue to text me and reach out to me saying that I could still pay for the logo for continued use, and if I don't, they won't be responsible if another company uses my logo and "press charges" because I used the logo in the past. I told them to stop contacting me, and that they are harassing me.

We used instalogo to create a logo for our business in 2019. We paid for the logo. There are no terms, agreement, length of time etc... The logo was purchased by us. On 11/25/23, we received a text message from a number that we didn't know telling us that we were being "ordered" to stop using our logo immediately or face infringement lawsuits. Initially, we replied and said that they had the wrong number, but they kept peppering us with text messages, eventually, we asked them to call us. So, they called us and told us that another logo design was filed that was similar to ours and if we didn't pay $598 for 5 years of ownership of our own log, we would be sued, in court, on Monday 11/27. They told us that we needed to pay immediately. We told them that they were bothering us on a weekend and that we would contact their office on Monday. They did not stop, they called my wife and I at least 10 times. They texted us over and over. Citing law #'s or whatever it was to tell us what the lawsuit was going to be filed under. They said things like "we will see you in court" or "we have all the evidence we need to prosecute your wife".... At this point, we told them that they were harassing us. But, they did not stop. Monday, i called their office and no one ever called me back. However, they kept calling us from unknown numbers and kept texting from the same number from Saturday. Once we finally verbalized to them that we know this is all phony, they stopped corresponding with us and when I call the number that they used, it is disconnected.
