I got a link to the InstantElixir and ordered the product online. It was marketed as the product that had rave reviews on Shark Tank and backed by the sharks. The screen clearly stated that I could recieve a free bottle of the cream for a shipping cost of $4.95, which I accepted. It looked like the usual free trials where you are sent a trial size product to use for a shipping fee.

Nowhere on the screen that I placed the order from, did it state that this was a 14-day free trial only and if I wanted to continue using the product, I had to call in to cancel it or else I would be charged $89.99. This was not the screen I ordered from- http://instantelixirproactiverepair.com/. It was somewhere else.

I placed my order and got the email confirmation of my credit card being charged the said shipping amount. I then started to get a lot of phoen calls, 2-3 calls a day about 'processing your order'. After repeatedly tellng them that it was already processed and I had a tracking number for hte shipment and to take me off the call list and close my account, I stopped getting the calls. I assumed my account was now closed.

2 days ago, I got charged $89.99 for the product with no warning or confirming of the trial period ending and whether I wanted to continue the trial. All websites worth their money do this- send out an email to the user to confirm that the subscription period is now starting. I called the customer service agent who said my account was never canceled (and then proceeded to cancel it over the phone). I asked to speak with the supervisor who said the same thing. They said they cannot refund my account. Apparently the $89.99 is mentioned under a link of 'terms and conditions' and they think everyone reads this. Such important information should not be hidden in a tiny link off the ordering page but notified front and center.

This is nothing but a SCAM. They do not tell the customer up-front that they will be charged $89.99 if the customer does not call in to cancel. Emailing to cancel does not help, I was told it has to be a phone call. It cannot be done online. No email was sent before the trail period ended to warn the customer of the upcoming cost, something that all good companies do. This is very unethical behavior on part of this company. Shame on the company and shame on Shark tank for backing this up, if indeed they are.

They offered free face cream and eye cream. you only have to pay for shipping. Then they say you signed up for membership and charge you *** plus ***.

They are scammers!

I'm trying to get my money back through my credit card. I failed a complaint.
