I called the place they said I owed money to and asked if they used Integrated Capital Recovery in New York. They told me we are based in Florida and why would we use a company based in New York. I asked if it was a scam and she said it sure sounds like it!

Called everyone I know even people I have t seen or talked to in almost 10 years saying they were the Sherriff Dept. Also told people they were going to show up at my work with the sheriff to serve me legal paperwork. I asked for them to mail to me paperwork showing debt owed to them because on credit report this debt from 5 years ago was to another debt collections company that has been paid . They wouldn’t provide any info to me via the mail and just wanted my debit card info over the phone to set up payments when I refused they became harrasssing and rude and threatening.

they called and instantly threated to sue me if I didnt pay. I told them that I wanted a letter mailed to me to prove I owed them and they didnt. I tried the other day to ask if they had sent written documentation and the email doesnt exist.
