I was contacted on LinkedIn regarding an opportunity for a secret shopper job. I filled out the application and was emailed with approval and told to wait for my first assignment. I received an email asking about what stores are in my area, and shortly after I was told that my first assignment would be arriving via USPS shortly. I received 3 money orders for almost $1000 each, along with instructions on how to complete my first assignment. It told me to cash the checks and then go buy gift cards and report in my experience in store. Checks are obviously fake and they are trying to gain access to the gift cards.
