My fiancé Found a puppy online and in a different state and sent the man $1000 through Zelle. Then the man told him he’d have to pay 1200 more for a temperature controlled crate which is when we realized it was a scam. When we contacted the guy to return our money he never responded and Zelle said they were unable to cancel the payment however they would look into it. Very disheartening and we probably should’ve known better.
