Was purchasing a puppy and was told shipping cost and a crate was $920.00 which had to be paid before the pup could be shipped. Paid that with American express cards. Was told puppy would be shipped the next day. Next morning I get an email saying that they needed an additional $890.00 for insurance I didn't pay that.

Same, I just got the same email, they asked 950 for the crate but I didn’t pay. I think the puppy is also a scam. T.T
