Type of a scam Online Purchase
Scammers purport to be doing business out of Atlanta, GA. They asked for payment of $950 to be sent via Gift Card & Walmart Wire Transfer to Ndango Valsium, Brownstown, Michigan 48134. Scammer contact people: "Carlos Xaxier", Phone: 612-562-6643 (area code is: Minneapolis, Minnesota), & Gina. Said company was located Michigan also.
Victim tried to purchase a puppy online from an advertisement that stated: "Blue Eyes Siberian Husky Puppies Available" which purported to use a company called "First Choice Travel" & "International Air Transportation Association (IATA)" to ship the fictitious puppy. Scammers requested $300 up front, but then kept requesting more money. Victim stopped paying after she lost $950 to the scam. Scammers are very detail oriented to fool consumers and provide lots of information and play on heartstrings of the consumer which is very typical of this type of scam.
