Prerecorded phone call that "tax audit lawsuit with your name" need to call 214-200-4898. An app I use on my cell phone identified the number as a Bank of America number. When I called, I gave the man my name. He found my address and repeated it back to me. Asked for the last four digits of my social and then went on about some lawsuit and needing attorney? I stopped him because I had no idea what he was talking about. He said he would send me the info. I said to email or address. He said address and then hung up. I immediately called Bank of America from number on back of my card and they had no idea what I was talking about.

Called number back and the same man said that he was with the Investigative Department of IRS. When I questioned what the IRS was (which yes, I know) he just responded back (more slowly) that he was with Investigative Department of IRS. I then asked where he was located. He didn't answer. I kept asking. He didn't answer. I needed to take a call on the other line and just hung up.

I received a call from the number 360-663-4460 informing me that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me for taxes from 2003-2008 and that within 24 hours I would put placed in jail. I called the number back and it was a foreign person who answered and when questioned about the validity of it he became anfry and cursed at me then hung up. I called back and then he hung up again. I called rom a work number and he asked for my cell number I was called on and then he connected me to another person who was complaining about the scam they were trying to pull until I informed her that I was nto with that person and then they hung up. I assume that if I would have played along there is some type of pay now and the lawsuit will go away but I did not get that far in this process. For others who become scared I am sure they could get people to transfer or pay money to them over the phone.
