I was contacted through WhatsApp group called Home of Friendship 2 to invest in foreign exchange market. There were 30 active members in the group. I was told, if I invest $500000, I can double my money in 60 days. They asked me to open account through the brokerage PNX Finance (also known as The Ponikcr Group Limited) located in 30 Broad Street, New York, NY 10004. They were always contacted through Live Chat where they provided me wire instructions. Initially I was depositing $25,000, but once the money showed up in my brokerage account, I would wire the next amount. Every time I wired, they gave me different instructions, which I followed and made subsequent wire transfers. The Poinkcr Group Limited was the brokerage firm that was linked to Meta 5 trading platform. I could see the money growing with their trading signals. Every time signal was correct, which made me confident to deposit more money through wire as I was seeing the account growing. Now the investment period of 60 days is over, I asked to withdraw the money. They said, I cannot withdraw till I pay taxes in full to them, so they can pay the taxes to IRS on our behalf. I asked them, why don’t they take the tax money, which is $402,432.04 from our original deposit/principle and release the remaining money to us. For that they said, they cannot do and it needs to be new money wired to them first and then they will allow us to withdraw money. I told them in every investment, we received 1099 form for capital gains,which we took to the tax preparer to report our tax obligation to IRS. They kept repeatedly asking us to pay taxes and now threatening us to liquidate our funds and freeze our account for non compliance.

They are repeatedly sending me WhatsApp message to pay taxes through wire transfer to PNX Finance and then be able to withdraw the money.

We have been repeatedly telling them either you deduct our taxes from the principle and release the rest of the money or release the money and send us the tax form to report to IRS through our CPA or just give us our principle back, which is after tax money.

Which makes me believe that this is a scam and they are trying to get as much money as they can and fraud us.

We have incurred a loss of $500,000 and after repeatedly reaching PNX Finance, there has been no resolution given to us. There are 9 total wire transfers to 3 different companies:

R S Import Export Trading LLC, 63 Dover Common Drive, Tucker, GA 30084

Spray International Trade Inc., 4205 SaullSt., Flushing, NY 11355

Beautiplus LLC, 448 Main St., Fort Lee, NJ 07024

I can still login to my account with www.pnxfinance.com, but not able to withdraw any portion of my principle or profit. We liquidated all our investments and savings and invested it all with this company. All conversations seemed very real with other members, who were sharing pictures of profit. I have reached out every member in the group(about 30 of them) and none of the numbers are getting connected.

Alice cooper still sends me messages in WhatsApp asking to come up with the money to pay taxes through wire.
