Our client owns registered trademarks rights to the marks ************ and ** in the US (e.g., Reg. Nos. *******, ******** ******** ******** *******), EU (Reg. Nos. ********** ********** ********** ********** *********), and other many other countries worldwide in connection with its research and education platform and related services that you can see on researchgate.net.
Our client recently discovered that a malicious third party is advertising a scam coin (contract address: e1pgpys1bc9zfbahv2xnc9k8cvfcq9ohzmobqhsapump) on the Solana network that is using the RESGATE coin name along with advertising materials that utilize our client’s ************ and ** trademarks and logos to impersonate our client. ResearchGate does not own or offer any coins, and this offered coin is a scam by luring consumers under the goodwill and reputation of ResearchGate to purchase, invest, or otherwise acquire the scam coin. Our client has also already issued a formal disclaimer on its X/Twitter account (***********************************) to warn its users of this scam.
We are submitting the subject report to you so that your platform can list this fraudulent coin as a scam and warn potential consumers from being deceived by this fraudulent offering on the Solana network.
