I was approached through text saying I filled out an application and that I have qualification and to download the app "signal" to contact the hiring manager Melissa thomas. She went through asking me interview questions and had me reporting to her for 3 days, one for an offer of employment letter, 2 for confirmation to send the check k for office equipment. When I went to bank teller they told me it's a fraud and not to even contact the hiring person again.

Job offered on Indeed for Data Entry $30 per hour. I was contacted by text by 314-788-7036 and asked to download the Sognal App and provide an

Interview # IMI-22. I did this and completed an "interview" by text with Jalen Thomas who provided the website and details of the position. After being told they would supply the equipment then was told they would send me a check for the equipment. I did some research and found this same scenario from others.

I was contacted via text regarding a remote job and given instructions to download the Signal app and contact the recruiter for an interview. After researching the Signal app I felt comfortable moving forward. Once I contacted the recruiter they asked pretty basic interview questions but also added a couple of things that I felt were odd. They asked who my cellphone carrier was and what bank I used (for payroll purposes). I answered the questions without giving any specific account details but I just felt something was off at that point. By the end of the interview the recruiter seemed very enthusiastic about my interview and said that if I'm selected, they'll send me money to put together my home office. At this point I started to feel really uneasy about the position. I researched the company. While there is a website, there's no real information on the company. If you select the call button, it does nothing. From what I can tell, there's no physical address listed for this company and no reviews or social media presence.
