IQ test advertisement Reports & Reviews (1)

- Reno, NV, USA • Jun 23, 2024

I saw an ad … possibly on the Newsbreak app for an IQ test with resulting report for $0.99. Curiosity piqued so i did the online test on cerebrumIQ.com. I understood that i was doing a 7 day trial and I understood that if i did not cancel within the 7 days i would be charged $14.99 a month. I did the test and got two different results - one report on the website showed test results different than the results emailed to me. The site also promised that using the training/games would result in a large increase in IQ (which seemed unlikely). Based on two different results, it seemed possible that I may have been scammed . I cancelled my membership on the same date and in addition, I found that my PayPal account had been charged for a month long access. I attempted to get a refund from CerebrumIQ.com and it was denied. I think i was scammed by misleading advertising (an IQ test for $0.99) and by my own curiosity.
