Ironman Marketing Reports & Reviews (1)

The company preyed on us when we were renting a car in Cabo San Lucas. They told us we would get the rental car free if we went to a Time Share presentation for 2 hours. We went, and continued to tell the sales reps that we did not want to and could not afford to buy in to the time share. 7 hours later and many sales reps later, we were frantic to leave the premises, late for our family get-togethers, hungry and incredibly frazzled by the high-pressure sales techniques. This is when they switched from trying to sell us a time-share to the membership in the travel club and lowered the price again, telling us we could book flights, hotels, etc at a fraction of the regular price and showing us examples of pennies-on-the-dollar prices for the those flights and hotels. Delirious, we agreed, just to get out of the nightmare. As soon as we returned home from Mexico, I contacted the two agents who had "sold" us the membership to cancel. None of the phone numbers were valid. This is when I called Bank of America to cancel the purchase.
