They say they are the criminal investigation section of the IRS.

They seemed very professional giving me their employee ID their badge ID their name my case number ect

They said that I could either resolve the issue now or a warrant would be issued for my arrest

They said that I would FIRST get an electronic bond and then go to the Irs website to pay them with the bond

He said that he would stay on the phone with me while I go to the address he gives me to get the bond and then that's when I knew something was wrong.

I went to my real local IRS office and they said the IRS would never call me and only do business by mail.

We are receiving scam calls from IRS Criminal Investigation Division saying if we don't respond within 24 hours we will be arrested and sent to jail.

We (my husband and I) are both receiving these calls on our land line and cell phones. We hang up. They are using several different numbers, including 657-444-0466.

My wife received a recorded message on her phone from someone alleging to be an investigator with the IRS. She said an arrest warrant had been issued for her arrest and to take your personal property and she is being investigated and being monitored. We must hear back from you immediately before we proceed.

Received a call from 202-350-9071 at 1617 today from Eric at IRS Criminal Investigations stating that I am mandated to appear before a magistrate and am facing criminal action. Wanted to know my defense attorney's name. They called on my cell phone ***and had my address information and name. When I asked a question this gentleman (who spoke broken English) hung up on me.
