This is a scam. Received $247 from me and I am disputing it with my credit card company. Was in a rush and did not check the .com address. Please do not make the same mistake I did. They have vital information. They look official if you are not checking carefully. I am ashamed that I did not check more carefully.

They scammed me and a buddy out of 247 dollars I don’t understand how the irs hasn’t shut them down. That’s such a stupid error but me and my friend were in a rush to get subcontracting and now it sounds like we just got scammed out of our money and we won’t be getting an official tax id

Site is designed to mimic the IRS website, visually, and includes "GOV.com" in the website address to mislead you into thinking (at a quick glance) that it is a ".gov" website. If you submit something, there is no way to follow up other than to submit a website form. They do not provide any contact phone number or email.

I had to file for an EIN with the IRS and I used what I thought was a government filing service at https://irs-ein-forms-gov.com/about-us/. They instead collected all my personal info, charged me $187 and issued me a fake EIN. My attempts to contact them have been unanswered and now they have a collections agency coming after me to pay for this service that was a complete scam.

Fake IRS site pretending to file IRS forms for payment. IRS does not charge to file for an EIN. The fake EIN they sent me is not acknowledged by the IRS. They took my $247. I called and they said they could not refund. When I told them I will contact the ScamPulse.com they said they would refund all but $75. I took that, but I will still dispute the $75 with my credit card company for fraud.
