IRS / imposter Reports & Reviews (6)

- Naples, FL, USA • Feb 08, 2024

I recieved a letter in the mail on 2/08/24 that looks legitimate from the IRS. They use scary words to scare citizens into paying them. they call it a Distraint Warrant from the Tax group seizures unit b-465023, Notice number: DWE15-STAT. in big capital bold letters it states SEIZURES OR FORFEITURE MAY BE IMMINENT DUE TO NON-PAYMENT OF TAXES. the letter states that if I don't call them by 2/10/24 they would revoke benefits, suspend licenses, and levy or offset any tax refunds this year. to avoid enforcement, call within (15) days of receiving this notice. failure to respond may result in additional penalties, fees and interest. from resolution officer Gamble FLDBAR-1010.

I called and some lady picked up on her cell phone, I could hear her walking down the street. I told her she was a predator and that i would be reporting her to the BBB.

Thank you for what you do

Received an email from IRS<[email protected]> telling me that after annual calculations of my fiscal activity I was eligible to receive a tax return of $976.00. At the bottom it recommended using a prepaid card because sending funds does not support this card.

Within the email was a link for Tax Return Form (I didn't click on the link).</[email protected]>

Email saying I was short listed for IRS customer service job. Sent me an application for personal info, which I then decided to look this person up.
