This afternoon at 3 pm I received a call from 1-888-319-2784 asking for me by name.
The man told me that he was calling from Washington, DC, the IRS Office and that he had information in front of him that states I owe money to the IRS.
When I was adamant that I did not owe the IRS any money and that if he needed to take this any further he could contact my Attorney, he hung up!
I believe this is the "SCAM" that our Local News reported on earlier this week. If it is, it involved people buying ITune Cards.
It is my hope that by notifying you about what happened to me and the telephone number for this person, some way it can help stop this from happening to someone who wouldn't think as quick as I did or would be afraid it is a representative from the IRS and loose some money.
