It seemed as though the website was from the US government, IRS. I was trying to get an EIN number and it was the first website that popped up. They charged 249 and I got an alert shortly after but hit the wrong button. I am working on trying to fix it with my bank but they are deciciving and seem to the IRS when they are not. The IRS does not charge for EINs.

I needed to get an EIN with haste for an Estate settlement. This is the first website that appears on a google search for getting an EIN. This site is impersonating the IRS, using the same forms and asking for all relevant personal information. They now have my SSN and my deceased mother's SSN. They ask for payment for expedited same-day processing of $279. I never received an email or an EIN. When I looked on this site I found many people with the same experience. This website should not be allowed to impersonate the IRS and needs to be relegated to the depths of the internet where no one can have this experience again.

I was looking to get a EIN number for my new business. When I did a search this irs.taxid-us.com was the first link. I clicked on it including entering my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and other contact information Then it tried to charge me $279 dollars at which point I knew I was tricked. PLEASE STOP THESE CROOKS!
