I was sent an email from a Isabela James about remote job positions. We scheduled a interview over Microsoft teams that was only text. They hired imminently and then had another email that seemed to be from a person from the company website they were impersonating with a employment offer and check for $4137.50 to buy equipment. The check did not go through. Isabela James then asked for me to by a $200 apple gift card for a vender to send software on the mac book they would send me on Monday. They seemed to say that they would reimburse me after the purchase. When I stated that is seemed like a scam they became agitated and then accusatory. All this was also communicated through teams only. When I refused they said the offer was terminated and then unprofessionally told me to enjoy the card that I told her I bought but did not actually buy.
