I received a confirmation email on 6/29/21 from "[email protected]" saying my TSA application was being processed and they will send me an email. I received an email indicating my appointment at RDU was for 7/28/21 @ 9:00. When I got to the appointment, the agent ask for an $85 fee and I told her I already paid $140. She said that I was scammed because the $85 is only collected in person at the appointment and that I should contact my bank. I did contact my bank but they requested that I first make an attempt to get the refund back from "[email protected]"

They charged a fee of $ 260 via credit card - which I cancelled and flagged to the credit card company within half an hour. Even after two weeks they follow up with additional questions about certain ID documents.

I was prompted to answer the exact same questions that the actual CBP Global Entry Renewal process requires and thus gave up my passport & driver's license information, employment history, current and past addresses, on top of other sensitive information. At checkout, I provided my credit card information to process payment.
Only after processing the payment did I notice that the logo in the corner of the site said "International Bureau of Immigration", which didn't seem right. I then realized this was not a government affiliated website, though it clearly was designed to give that impression (see attached screenshot) and was enabled by Google to appear as a top result on their search engine. It seems the website I entered my info at is affiliated with this website: https://ivc-visaservice.com/ and this company: I.V.C. International Visa Center, LLC. They do not outright claim to be affiliated with the government, but offer to perform government services, which can be performed directly on government websites, at exorbitant rates.
Four attempts were made to charge $265.23 to my credit card, which I immediately cancelled after learning that the site was fraudulent and before any charges could post. The actual charge for renewing a Global Entry membership is $100.
