Husband called phone number listed and spoke with a Rachel Reeds inquiring about a classic 1967 Red Chevy II Nova listed on their website. It was listed for $23000.00. My husband asked what the lowest they would go. She responded with I have to ask the boss. She returned his phone call and said $20,500.00. My husband hung up. He looked the website over, check the phone number listed for area code accuracy. He called back and asked if he could see the interior and the engine to which she sent a video over text. Everything looked legit. We both discussed it and thought this over for a few days. My husband contacted her and said that yes we would like to purchase the car. Rachel told by husband we need to pay by wire transfer through our bank and gave us all the pertinent information to go along with a wire transfer. The bank they gave us was a major US bank, so we had no concerns of the legitimacy of this transaction. He initiated the transfer and the next day called Rachel to see if the transfer went through, which it did. We were told the car would be shipped by their carrier to whatever location we wanted it provided it was within 800 miles and to expect it on Monday March 11.th. It never arrived and know now this was a scam.
