Jack Russell Puppies for Sale

We in recent months lost our dog (old age/health) and were looking for a new puppy.
My wife found this website. Common sense should have dawned - as in hindsight - it seems too good to be true!
They played on our sympathies for our late pet and we got sucked in...

We lost out on $650.
But the despicable nature of the scam is what hurt the most.

The day after expressing interest in the pet - the sold called shipping company "Global Carriers Logistics" - contacted via email and then phone me to say that they have the puppy - but need $1850 to cover insurance for the puppy. Being on the phone for the first time - it was clear (to me anyway) that this guy was speaking with a very heavy Nigerian accent.
The email he sent me was unprofessional and filled with grammatical errors. There was also an attached PDF which has been generated using Wordpress (web developer tool) which he said they always use - which is nonsense. He started getting more defensive and I had no more time to waste, told him to F.O and hung up.

Just sharing this so that no one else gets caught out.
