I just received a call telling me to call the same phone number (866.823.5279). The caller was a black female who was trying to sound very discreet. She said a complaint had been filed against me but did not have any other information except a case number. She told me I had to call the number within the next 2 days or I would be served.
I called the number and another black female answered, again trying to sound very official. I made her repeat and even spell the name of the company. I let her confirm my name, but when she asked about the last 4 of my social I said that I would not comply since I did not know who she was. She persisted saying that she had to verify my identity to provide me with any information. I told her that she would have to do it some other way and hung up.

They called my phone from another number first and stated if I didn't call the 1 866 823 5279 in 2 hours my bank,paycheck,and any stimulus money would be garnished by them. They said that they are calling about an account from 2003-2016 from a group I have never heard of. Claimed I owed 4200.00 and I had a judgment coming from jacks and eden group if I didn't make a payment arrangement w them. I asked for the account and who it was with and told me they did not know. Said they sent me a letter to be signed for about this matter,but I never received it and it was under a previous last name. Nobody could tell me anything about this account or what it was for but they wanted money then or it went to underwriting for a judgment against me. Even said was on my credit report until 2016 which I ckecked w transunion and it never existed. Glad I didn't pay after reading other complaints. .this is a scam and they try to threaten w garnishment of accounts unless you set up an agreement w them on phone..they need to be prosecuted for giving false information on bogus accounts and have my old name,address,and phone number...I will have to check my credit report every few weeks now for any fraud from them..I did not give any financial info but will check that daily too..hung up when I wouldn't give any card info to make a payment to stop the process of serving me judgment papers and reporting to credit agencies. Its a scam so beware. .
