Type of a scam: Debt Collections

I received a call from Jackson Edwards and associates back on August 31st. By actually received a call from dispatch regarding a debt owed and I need to reach out to Jackson Edwards before I am served with papers and have to appear in court for the money owed. The phone number that was provided was 833-669-1571. I called this number and I ended up speaking to Josh Turner who had further provided me with information regarding the debt I owe in the amount of $956 2 AT&T mobility. I checked my credit report to see what was showing that I owed in this amount, and it did not match. I even further mentioned to Josh on the phone that I only see two things on my credit report from 18 T but nothing that matches with what he is stating I told him that I would look further into it and get back to him. He did tell me that I have until September 10th to pay this monies otherwise that I will be served the papers to appear in court and I would end up spending over $2000. He said to avoid going to court and having to pay the 2000 plus dollars I can go ahead and make the payment of the $956 by September 10th. He said he could put a hold on them serving the papers up until Friday September 10th. During this time period I did some research on this. I spoke to AT&T and they never heard of Jackson Edwards. I called Josh on Friday September 10th which I did was unable to reach and had to leave a message. I did state in my message this information that I found about 18 T and the monies owed. Josh then called me back on Monday September 13th. But this was after I had received another phone call from the dispatch, phone number 305 260 6635. The dispatch left me another message stating that they had not heard back from Jackson Edwards and they're going to proceed to send a processor to serve me papers to appear in court. When I did speak to Josh regarding this, I had asked him about the hold and that I had called on Friday as previously discussed but had to leave a message on his voicemail. Josh then had said that he heard my message regarding the AT&T account, and he said there was a confusion that he said it's not easy it's payday mobility I took I told Josh at that time that I never heard of Payday Mobility regarding anything about a loan in that amount. I asked some information from him regarding payday mobility so I can reach out to the company to get further information as to this “loan”. Josh had done told me he did not have that information and that I can Google it if I need to reach out to them. I found that kind of odd that they have this file but don't have the phone number to the company that is claiming I owe money 2. I called the Better Business Bureau and apparently this company has been reported as scammers. same thing for payday mobility when I googled their information the phone numbers listed none of them work. Also, there were reviews regarding this company indicating that there are also scammers.
