He identified himself as a Master Sargent Jake Carson with US Army from New York, New York. Said he lost his wife to cancer 5-6 years ago, but said too painful could not talk about it. Professed his love very quickly and SRESSED that. could not wait to be together, But after about 2-3 weeks he told me he and 4 other sergeants were being shipped to Syria. We chatted mostly on Hangout. Also said he was Catholic, never spoke nasty or dirty/proactive words to me. Said he had a grandson named Michael and a home in New York City. He REALLY had me fooled for a while. He said he was a man of faith and Honesty, and even offered up some prayers for me and my family Covid related. He had me fooled until he told me he could not talk anymore because of his minutes and that I needed to go buy a Steam Card so that he could continue to talk. I did but after it was activated it did not work, lost $100.00. He did not seem to phase him at all when I told him I JUST LOST $100.00. As time went on, kept on telling me he was falling in Love with me and hoped to put a ring on my finger. More time went on, and about this time...I started thinking this IS WAY TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. So i started to investigate. Looked up all of his names Jake Carson, Jake Chambers, Jake Carlos Chambers??? I found nothing, Then I asked him to send picture of his military's tags, he kept changing the subject and got mad at one point asking me why I did not trust him He then explained that he was sort of on a peace keeping mission in Syria, and that where he was deployed in Syria (very underdeveloped, and people WERE STARVING), Syrian government did not want to collaborate with the US government to send money or food to this country. HE THEN TOLD ME HE OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET, set up a trust fund......but it was not ENOUGH. I then asked him what about the other field sergeants that came with him, he quickly texted me and said they had been deployed somewhere else. This is when he asked me to send him some money, told me to hurry up, and be very quiet about it. By this time I had ALREADY suspected he was not "for Real" I THEN STARTED PLAYING HIS GAME.... stalling and saying hmm, it would take me a couple weeks or more, because of all the processes I would have to go thru to get his request for $10,000... until I could somehow report this. I did report this with the Texas Police Department. Have photos but do not know how to download. About a week ago received a death threat saying within 48 hours of opening the email and funds were not sent to him he would hurt both me and my family.
