Type of a scam Tax Collection
Message as follows:
"Hi my name is "James Kasten" and this message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an issue appearance before a Magistrate Judge or a Grand Jury for a Federal Criminal Offense. My number is 224-592-0127. I repeat, it's 224-592-0127. I'd like you to call _(paid? -word garbled)_ with us and help us to help you. Thank you."
We looked up the number online, and apparently, quite a few people have been contacted by this number and have been told they owe back taxes. Reportedly, it is a SCAM. We never called this person back.
