On 9/3/24 I was looking for flight tickets to Guatemala, a search engine was used and Hot flight deals offered a low cost for the 4 tickets, I booked the flight for a total amount of $992.00. On 9/4/24 I received a call from a Hot flight salesperson, who told me they needed to charge me $1500. plus in order to book the flight, I declined and told him to disregard the booking. On 9/6/24 I got a call again from the sales person trying to book the flight for an additional $1500.00 but I told him I had already booked my flight with another company. On 9/12/24 I got an email form James William ([email protected] asking me to acknowledge his e mail by replying I confirm to get the tickets confirmed. the e mail indicated my credit card was going to be charged $2051.6 USD for 4 passengers. I replied to his e- mail with the following statement: " I don't agree and request you stop trying to sell me the flight tickets, this is harassment, and I will contact the business bureau if you do not stop". On 9/15/24 while reviewing my credit card charges, I noticed a charge from Hot flights in the amount of $2737.98, I have disputed those charges with my credit card company and they suggested to cancel my credit card which was immediately done; they issued a new credit card number, and I am waiting for a new card. The dispute is ongoing, I am waiting for the credit card company follow up.
