The scammer offered an 8 week job to students. It was an email that promised the job and asked anyone interested to text a number. They then asked for a resume as well as alternate email addresses and physical address. They sent a pdf of a check they wanted deposited for equipment necessary. After this they asked for a shipping address. This is the point the person realized it might be a scam and ended the conversation.
