The scammer advertises enticing work-from-home job opportunities on various online platforms. These listings appear legitimate and attract job seekers who are eager to find remote employment. In addition to job listings, she claims to offer professional services such as resume assistance, cover letter writing, and more. She directs victims to a booking link where they can schedule consultations or service appointments. Payments are requested through Cash App and Apple Pay, methods which are often harder to trace and recover. After payment is made, the scammer fails to provide any of the promised services. Victims are left without the job opportunities or professional assistance they were led to expect. Attempts by victims to follow up or request refunds are ignored, and the scammer becomes unresponsive, leaving the victims without recourse. This fraudulent scheme not only financially exploits individuals but also preys on their hopes of securing stable employment, causing significant emotional distress. It is crucial to raise awareness about this scam to prevent further victimization and to take appropriate actions to stop the perpetrator.
