There is a guy named Alan Jay Slaton (Jay) that used to own The Mirror Company but now he does not. He is stealing mirrors from the company and selling them on Facebook Marketplace. He only accepts cash or venmo, and does not report the income. From what I understand, The Mirror Company is writing off all of the mirrors he steals as defective, broken or missing. Jay is hiring people from Craigslist and promising them they will get paid a certain amount each day, and will work 5 days a week. He will then only allow that person to work every other week, while making false promises about becoming an installer to make much more money. When the person has finally struggled to the point of losing everything, he will discard them and find another person from Craigslist. His son Sean now owns The Mirror Company and he is in on the scam. They have legitimate installers that work for the face of the company, but behind the scenes they are selling mirrors for cash (or venmo). Then the company writes those mirrors off as a loss. Jay uses fake facebook profiles to market the mirrors and deletes all of his correspondences daily. He has two profiles named after his dogs, Marcus and Katy. Who knows what other profiles he is using. One thing in common is that they all use The Mirror Company as the name behind the mirrors.

Jay has several complaints on Marketplace but he does't care. One thing he says often after installing the mirrors and getting paid is, "Too late now, I have already been paid cash and they are never getting it back.". He sells the mirrors all across the country, but he primarily focuses on Texas and the whole North East part of the country. If you buy a mirror from The Mirror Company on Facebook Marketplace you are supporting all of the evil he does! He doesn't care about anyone and has said many terrible things about all the people around him. And since he is bringing in tens of thousands of dollars per month in unreported income, if you buy those mirrors you are supporting tax evasion and (very nearly) indentured servitude. You are also enabling him to take advantage of hard working people and ruin their lives.
