I was contacted by someone claiming to be Jeffrey Robinson who told me he paid Facebook a fee to get my contact information. He said he worked for Model and Talent Midwest and wanted to offer me a chance to be a model for his company. I told him this was a scam and I would pursue legal advice. He followed by having someone claim to be from Victoria Secret contact me. I repeated the same response to her. Then someone claiming to be Jeffrey's husband, Joshua Grooms reached out to me, offering me different modeling offers, with JC Model and Talent. None of the people could meet in person, claiming to be out of state for shows. I was then contacted by someone named Michael who said he worked for Joshua Grooms, setting his appointments and such, and told me where the JC Model and Talent office was located. I proceeded to take a chance (bringing someone with me) and look for the office, and found the name on a sign but the suite did not exist inside the building. I have saved all text messages and a screenshot of the inside where it shows the suites. Please do not fall prey to any of these people or businesses. I did reach out to John Casablancas home base in Boone, Iowa and they have never heard of any of these business or people!
