They were to move us and household five miles. Started at $7K, at our new mobile home it jumped to well over $13K. I made a comment and walked away. Next, they are leaving in their trucks with our belongings, and holding them hostage. they called us at our old house, with a different figure. Still high, but I was exhausted from 2-3 months of house hunting, so said OK. Got to house and got hit for another $2K. I was straightening out our new bedroom and noticed it very quiet. Went outside to see all of our items thrown in the carport, our front yard and out on the street. I really got POed, told them I was dead tired and going to bed, but wanted all of the items in the house and it locked up. Wrong. Got back in morning to see they did nothing. We were lucky we had some great new neighbors. They spent most of Saturday and Sunday helping us get things in the house. One neighbor lady told my wife that before they left one of the workers went to the middle of the street, under a streetlight and peed. Actually, the crew acted like POed 2 year olds. They just threw everything in the boxes. We have never in our 70+ years seen so much damage, broken, and missing. Yes, MISSING! The biggest item was our coin collection with a value of near $100K, plus numerous bits and pieces. Just enough to make an item worthless. Later on, I figured out why the came to load the two trucks and also brought a car. They easily could have fit in the crew cabs on the trucks and not needed the car. But then they needed the car to put what they were stealing in. They went through all the drawers in the house to see what they could steal. Then they quickly threw everything in the boxes. The big boss in Texas called and then emailed me about the problem we had. He offered $500.00 to $700.00. I emailed him back and told him that would have been very laughable, if it were useful and not stupid. I guess they spend the two weeks of intensive training of the little children, what they acted like, not on loading furniture without damage, but how to steal the good stuff in a customers house. Neither the big boss or the local one mentioned a thing about missing items, even when I mentioned it to them. and told them I wanted it returned.

Yes, I contacted the sheriff and Tucson PD. Both had the same answer, Small Claims Court. I guess they were too busy with their coffee and doughnuts! That and Bidens go easy on crime, so he can put more on legal gun owners as being responsible for the increase in crime. We got broken into back in 2011. It was sure different then. We had two or three deputies, one supervisor, and two detectives at the house. I followed each of the crooks through the legal system. One guy I saw his pic in the paper for a home burglary and the other was in jail at the time for two or three other burglaries. He got a few years added to what he already had. I will say, he did say he was sorry. He'd been hooked on pain pills. I think he meant it but wouldn't swear to it. This time they got close to $200K. Of course, this time was different, these crooks and liars were supposed to be helping, and not helping themselves. The only difference in the two, the first one they broke an 8 ft. sliding glass door, (cost over $1K), and got around $200K.

BTW: this is in addition to March 21 of 2022.
