We paid a man named JEFF BURKS (from the Dowagiac, Niles, Berrien Springs, Edwardsburg and other surrounding areas in SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN) $250.00 to rubber coat our roof of our camper last November 2021. Jeff never had the time or the help to do the work that he took the money for. We found out after we gave him the 250.00 that he had been in court over the past 2 decades many times over for being a habitual repeat offender for taking money from potential customers with no intention of doing the work or returning anyone's money. He is on a 3 year probation this time from 2019 for intentionally taking money from people and never planning on doing any of the work he promises. He was court ordered to close his business down in 2019 and not be able to reopen it again. He has many many new and recent listings on FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE under many different business names even though he is not supposed to being doing this any more according to the Cass County Circuit court. He has been promising for over 6 months now to return our money next week but then next week has never come because we still have not gotten our money back. He has been on several long distance vacations now in the past 6 months alone according to his excuses as to why he could not bring the money back to us that week. His truck has been broken down for months now and he has no way to go anywhere to return the money however, he is still advertising under FB MARKETPLACE with many different company names and new listings as of right now. PLEASE BEWARE! This is frustrating and emotional. I know it is not a lot of money for many people, but for us, it is. Just put his name in GOOGLE and Cassopolis Michigan and see what comes up. I can't believe that they would court order him to stop doing this and not follow up with it with as many different listings as he has out there.
