called frost bank. I told her that I never
heard of that bank before so she wanted me to go to a ATM to order the supplies because that was the closest to me. I found that weird but I thought everything was ok and that this was the process for a remote job. So I left work and went to the all point ATM. She wanted me to put the order number in and send a screen shot of the machine but it was declining everything she wanted me to do. Finally she told me to go withdrawal the money from my bank because the ATM wasn’t working. I withdrawal the money and she wanted me to go to a bitcoin machine because that was the only machine that was gonna work for ordering the equipment. I was feeling weird about it but once again I thought everything was good because this job was on indeed, so I’m thinking this was legit. She had me feeding the money that she had me take out my account into this bitcoin machine I knew nothing about. She was guiding me through the process and having me take screen shots. I reached my limit on the machine and still had some money left over so she sent me to another machine. I think she had a tracker on me because she knew my location and was able to tell me what was the closest location. So after the second bitcoin machine I still had money left over at this point she said just put that back in the bank and go home and she will send me an invoice on the equipment. She sent me the invoice and it had the company that the equipment was coming from and my name on it stating that it was paid in full. But the billing name didn’t match my name. It had a different last name on it. I questioned her about it and she seem nonchalant about it. I also asked her about the events that happened that day and how I wasn’t feeling good about it and why I couldn’t use my bank account to order the equipment and she came up with a reason that didn’t make any sense. I brushed it off because the equipment was now ordered and I was to report back to her the next day at 9am my time for the tracking number. The next day she said she had some good updates to give me and had me waiting over 10 minutes before she gave me the updates. All the communication between us was done through the signal messaging app. Never talked to her personally. It was only messaging on the app. So she finally responded and was letting me know that the company had the equipment ready to send out but the payment wasn’t enough to cover it so they was sending out another check to cover the rest and they will send me the tracking number for the equipment once the payment is received. So now that was the last straw because they already sent out the first check which was $6,800 and now was sending another check out for I don’t know how much it was this time. She wanted me to take 500 out for the inconvenience that they had caused me. So I contacted my mom because I was at work, to let her know what happened and to warn her that they were sending out another check and don’t sign for it. They had that check coming out the same day she said that the payment wasn’t enough so she had to already had that check on the way the day before. At this point I knew my instincts was right. I didn’t want to believe that this was a scam. My mom declined the package and as soon as she did I get a message from mrs. Bella okopio “package declined?”. I didn’t respond so that night I checked my bank account and it was negative $5,418. Never received the equipment. Never got another message from her. Never received any paperwork that she claimed was on the way. It was just lie after lie. I haven’t had a need to find employment for a while so I didn’t know that it was scanners like this on job sites. I recently started back applying for remote work because I am moving soon and wanted to get things situated. Now I am going to cancel my indeed account and the other job sites I have because this was a eye opener for me. You can’t trust anyone.

I did not reply because the vague info and email address made me question. I’ve received so many scam emails now so I don’t trust any of them really.
