I wanted to adopt a French Bulldog. I did my research or so I thought. I spoke with the breeder by email for a week back and forth. I received multiple pictures of the dog that I was interested in adopting. I sent them the money through my bank and the dog was supposed to be flown to me. Halfway through the day I received an email stating that they needed pet insurance to fly her and she was stuck in Ohio until I paid the fee. I paid it. I wanted my doggy home. Then a few hours later, they wanted more money for a city permit. I paid that too. At this point I have paid a lot and I want this dog. I was in love and knew my daughter would be sad as well. Then they asked for another amount for something else. I got angry. The breeder said she would pay half of it if I paid the other half. So I stupidly did. I waited for my dog to come home that night and she never did. They had some song and dance about her needing shots that she didn't have because she was too young to receive them and so the vet on call gave them to her. I asked for pictures, but they didn't have access to her because she was resting after her vaccinations. They swore she would be with me the next day. She of course did not come home and they only communicated long enough to ask me about one of the payments that I was able to retract. Then they disappeared. I have not heard from them since. I also received an email from my bank stating that the business email has changed. GIANT SCAM!
