My father was contacted by phone today. Caller said his name was Jerry Driver and he is an attorney. He told my father that his oldest grandson had been in an auto accident and was at the courthouse and would not be released until funds were sent to a Target credit card number. He claimed my father's grandson did not want to notify his parents as he wrecked the car. My father alerted me and I told him it was a scam. We confirmed by calling my dad's grandson. I called the number provided and told Jerry I had reported him and he hung up.
