Purchased puppy online. Was assured via email, total price included all fees. Paid via Zelle 499 to teacupbreeder.com voa [email protected]. Then, jfk pet cargo contacted me needing 1000 for air conditioned pet crate. Sent via Zelle to same [email protected]. Then, they said pet insurance costs were involved and pet cannot travel without it, and needed 1100. They also said I'd be refunded via cheque or cash 90% of the 1000 and 100% of the 1100 upon delivery of the puppy to my residence. Told them I had no more money to pay the 1100. They told me that without it, the puppy would go into 13 month quarantine and it'd cost a lot more. At that, I completely stopped communicating and set about calling my bank to file a report. Beware!
