Dear user
Please check your bill.
And the email ends with the following.
Thanks & Regards
NEF LLC..
I ordered charcoal bags from Nature Fresh once before for my shoes, but it was just for 2 bags. One for each shoe and they didn't cost nowhere near what they are charging in the email. Plus, it was a one time order not a yearly subscription. I would never pay $300 plus for charcoal shoe fresheners. I called the number that is given in the email to inquire what is going on and why I was receiving the email. The call was answered by an Indian named Tim and when I asked him about the email he straight away asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. He never asked me for the Renewal Reference Number or for any other identifying information like; physical address, email address, phone number, etc. to look up my account. This was the first red flag warning me something was amiss. When I said I did want to cancel and get a refund, he told me I first had to have a computer in front of me, then go to Google, and he would give me information (an email or website or whatever) to put in so I could cancel the order and get a refund. Second red flag warning me something was amiss. I told him that I wasn't going to open a website on Google and allow them access to my computer. He then hung up on me. I called the number again and the same person answered the phone saying, Hello, but this time didn't give his name but knew it was me (third red flag warning me something was amiss), because he asked me if I was now ready to go on Google. I asked him why he couldn't just process the refund or transfer me to someone who could and he said I had to do it on Google. Again I told him I wasn't going on Google and again he hung up on me. I called two more times and no one would answer the phone. The last time I called I left a message with my name, phone number, and said I was requesting the order be canceled and I wanted a refund. Later that day someone called referencing my message and asked if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. when I said, yes, he told me I needed to go on Google. I told him I wasn't going om Google and the he said that was the only way to cancel and get a refund. I told him I wasn't doing it that way and he said then I would be charged the amount. I told him I wasn't paying and he hung up on me.
I've kept the email and we are watching our bank accounts to make sure we aren't charged $368.35 from Nature Fresh or anyone else.
I've never had anyone ever tell me to go to Google to cancel an order and get a refund or not ask for a reference number or identifying information to look up the account when requesting an order be canceled and get a refund.</[email protected]>
