This is actually false I had a buyer provide me with a JLN capital proof of funds and they performed on the deal. I was a little skeptical at first like I am with every deal but in the end it was for nothing. Buyer performed on the day of closing and everyone was paid. Theres no real proof of funds. You could actually get in trouble for slander on a company like this.

I am a realtor reporting suspicious activity. I received a call from ***** ** ****** ************, posing as a buyer interested in purchasing one of my listings. ***** gave me a verbal offer over the phone during the initial call. I requested he email me his offer and provided proof of funds or a pre-approval letter from a lender. Attached you will find the pre-approval letter ***** emailed me, from JLN Capital, from ******* email, ******************@gmail.com. The letter looks fake and has no phone number to contact this lender. I went to JLN Capital's website and found no way to contact them unless I submit my name and e-mail. I feel something shady is going on since ***** is unwilling to provide this companies phone number so I can verify the validity of the letter. When I questioned ***** he informed me he will not be the actual buyer, his company will find a buyer to purchase the property. I informed him his pre-approval letter is not valid since he is not the buyer. I informed ***** I no longer desire to do business with him based on his lack of honesty and unethical proof of the ability to purchase this real estate.

I'm going through this exact situation and trying to determine whether or not this is a scam or not. The letter I received says Natalie Quinn is the underwriter. No phone number and it's not the same logo that's on their website. It's all very general and it just strikes me as odd they wouldn't include important details like the terms of the funding or contact information.

I don't blame you for overthinking, but I think you went a little too far. This type of slander could get you in trouble if the company pursues legal action. They are a real company and there's no real proof of funds , they are all pieces of paper that say you have some sort of funding. Im in the state of California and a buyer with this company performed on a deal. I think you lost business for being dumb
