This was a video advertisement on line... It was claiming the famous singer, JLo was wanting to give away her new facial skin care for free, to the first 1000 customers. I watched the entire video and then they say, you have to pay the shipping charges after they have you convinced the product is amazing.. And they advertised the product shipping and handling was only $5.95 but then charged me $7.95.. I watched the entire video, and there was no mention of re-accouring charges, or additional charges. Or being signed up for a subscription.. My credit card company caught the fraudulent charge of the $119.67, and declined the charge.. I was notified by my credit card company and called NU-GLO Skin Care, at the number Discover provided.. 1-866-209-1954.. When I spoke with them I said their must be some mistake I did not sign up for any subscriptions with them, and asked them to cancel what ever they were charging me for.. The guy who answered was very belligerent and said it was a 14 day free trial, and I was responsible for the full amount of the product.. And that they would keep billing my credit card, until it went through.. There was never any mention of a 14 day free trial either in the video.. He said I signed a contract with them and I did not.. I called my Credit card company back and they advised me to file this complaint. Since the company refused to cancel further orders.. I offered to return the product and they did not want it back.
