I got this text message: Hello (my name)! This is Jonathan from JMG-Texas. Your resume has made it to our shortlist and we'd like to invite you for an IN PERSON interview in our Dallas office. We have availability Monday between 10:30 am - 11:45 CST. Could you verify if you're available during this time slot? JMG- TEXAS https://jmg-tx.com I inquired about the name of the role and asked where it was published and they answered it was for a Account Representative and said my resume was highlighted as a match (we received smart-matched resumes via indeed, linkedin and careerbuilder). Then I asked for a JD and the last name of this Jonathan, where they are located. I let him know that I was not interested because I could not find legit information about this company. When it comes to the interview the IN PERSON part is the most worrying at least for me. I let him know that I don't feel like it would be safe for me to come to the interview. I searched the site and it exists but is clearly a fishy company I also googled the company with his name and this report came up as well as a reddit post.
