The scammer somehow got my phone number and texted me, pretending to be powerball winner, Leryenne West. The text said that I got selected to share her wealth. I accepted in hopes to help myself and my family, and donate to charities and those in needs. The scammer asked for my full name and address. A few days later, i got a priority mail envelope containing the check for 1 million dollars with the business name Kaplan Early Learning. The memo said signed by Leryenne West but it doesnt have an authorized signature. The scammer said to follow instructions and do not cash the check at the bank. I told the scammer that i was gonna 'return it'.
