I would like to know what I can do for the following actions:
I was hired to receive packages (the person that only contacted me through email) never disclosure what was inside the packages, until I got them.
The boxes contains wine, 12 bottles of wine from different wineries from Napa Valley. I noticed every invoice has different buyer, always different people from different states, I googled some addresses and the address are from schools or empty parking lots.
Then the people that "hired me" send me a new label, the label contains the name of a different person here in Burbank CA, shipping to somewhere in NY.
So this doesn't make any sense. Someone from MI buying wine from Napa Valley, getting shipping it to me, and then the sender is a guy from Burbank and then shipping it to NY. So how legal is all of this?
So I am very concerned that is a scam or some illegal business. That's the reason I am contacting you to get advice of what to do.
I am stuck with 25 boxes of wine (approximately 250 bottles) (20 delivery by FedEx).
** ******* ** **** ********** ********** los angeles CA 90068.
Please help me, so I can know what to do to return this wine or how to proceed.
Thank you.
