Received an email telling me I was selected as the best candidate for a job I have no recollection of applying for. The initial email gave me an odd feeling. The email was generic, very still, and did not mention the position I was supposedly hired for. The email requested my information and a description about why I thought I was the best person for the job. This is not how recruiters work in my experience. Upon looking at the job description that was included in the email, I knew something was wrong. The job is in HR, which I have no experience in, the pay was ridiculous, and no skills or experience was required.
