Applied to a job opening listed on LinkedIn. Received an email to fill out a Jotform with typical interview questions and then an email to do a phone interview. After the phone interview an offer letter was submitted and then a link to a Microsoft Teams chat to get set up with the company. They asked for personal information to confirm identity and to deposit cheques for home office equipment and to e-transfer payment. Once that was done the cheques showed as returned on my bank account and all contact from their side ceased both on Teams and email.
