They offer me a job I applied for on WhatsJobs. They did a virtual interview and kept in touch with them since August 28th, 2025 the person said do I have a mobile deposit and it is necessary to have for me to take two $1,000 checks for me to deposit for job equipment etc, they said a vendor would help me with it. A red flag went up there, so I continued to ask questions, I emailed them with no response. They have my email address where I live, my social security number and my driver's license too and a bank account information. However I am working on staying alert since they might misuse my information. I didn't call the police, since no real criminal activity has been done. I am trying to secure all that I can on my end.
